To scan the QR code on the merchant’s tablet or smartphone, the app needs your camera. You must give permission for this.
If you have accidentally refused the permission, you can still adjust this in the settings of your smartphone.
For iPhone:
1. Go to ‘Settings’.
2. Scroll all the way down until you find ‘Joyn’ and press it.
3. Make sure the slider on your camera is turned on as shown in the image above.
For Android:
1. Go to ‘Settings’.
2. Select Apps and tap the Joyn app.
3. Tap on ‘Permissions’.
4. Make sure the slider on your camera is turned on (green).
