My customer’s Payconiq by Bancontact app does not open automatically when a payment needs to be made. How do we solve this?

You can solve this by asking your customer to adjust preferences in the Joyn app. Complete the steps below:

  1. The customer opens the Joyn app on his smartphone.
  2. He presses the gear icon in the top left to go to his profile.
  3. Next, he chooses ‘Payment settings’ and Payconiq by Bancontact.
  4. Your customer needs to slides the bar ‘Open the Payconiq by Bancontact app automatically when making payments’ to the right.
  5. Done! You can now pay with the Payconiq by Banconact app in the Joyn app.
