Why is it important that I add categories in the Joyn merchant portal and how do I do this?

When Joyn users search for a shop in your category, they will find your shop in the Joyn website and Joyn app. Categories will make it easier to find your shop.

To add a category in your Joyn merchant portal, complete the steps below:

  1. Go to the Joyn merchant portal (business.joyn.eu) and log in.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and press ‘Edit account’.
  3. Click on the ‘Categories’ tab.
  4. Press ‘Add category’ and select from the list.

Make sure to save your changes once you have added the categories.

TIP: You can add multiple categories to your shop. Make sure the main category is listed at the top.
