What if my customer doesn’t have an email address or prefers not to share it?

Customers without an email address can still save up for Joyn bonuses in your shop.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. If a customer scans using an unregistered card or app, the following message appears ‘Register your card’.
  2. Click on ‘No email address yet? Contact the merchant.’
  3. The app will ask you to enter the tablet’s access code.
  4. After entering the code, you can simply add the points to the unregistered card or app. The registration screen will not be shown again during subsequent visits.

Note! When you bypass the system for your customers as explained above, you do not collect any data. This means you cannot reach these customers through your email campaigns either. Therefore, limit the bypass option to a minimum and only do it when customers really do not have an email address.
